01Set Up a Round
Sign in and open Mines. Round Setup holds every setting: beside the board on a computer, with your balance at its head, and under the board on a phone.
- Enter an amount. It is typed in your display currency, starts at $0.10 and can go as low as $0.01. The ½, 2× and Max keys halve it, double it or set it to your balance.
- Choose how many mines are on the board: 1, 3, 5, 10 or 24. The default is 5, and the note beside the field shows how many safe tiles that leaves.
- Press Start round. The amount is taken from your balance. The server decides each tile you open, and the mines are shown when the round ends.
02Reveal Tiles and Cash Out
Click or tap a rock to reveal it. A safe tile opens as a gem and moves you up the payout ladder, and the plank under the grid shows your current multiplier and what a cash out pays now.
- Cash out any time after your first safe tile, with the main button or the Cash out plate on the board. The payout is your amount times the current multiplier, rounded down to whole cents.
- Reveal every safe tile and the round cashes out for you.
- Reveal a mine and the round ends with no payout. The board then shows the round's final mines, and the tile that ended it is marked.
You can press several rocks in a row: they are sent one at a time, in the order you pressed them. Only one Mines round can be open at a time.
03Read the Payout Ladder
In Manual, Round Setup lists a Payout ladder of up to five steps. Each step shows a tile count, its multiplier and what it pays at your amount. Between rounds it shows the first tiles; during a round it moves on to the next ones and highlights the next step.
The ladder depends only on the mines count and how many safe tiles you have found: the more mines on the board, the faster the multiplier climbs with each safe tile. At the foot of Round Setup, Multiplier is where you stand now and Cash out is what a cash out pays right now.
04Play With Auto
Switch Round Setup to Auto to replay the same pattern of tiles round after round.
- Tap the tiles you want on the board. Auto opens them in the order you picked, and cashes out after the last one if no mine is hit.
- Set Number of rounds, or use the infinity key to run until you stop it.
- Set On win and On loss to Reset (back to the starting amount) or Increase by a percentage, and set Stop on profit or Stop on loss if you want them. A value of 0 turns a stop off.
- Press Start auto. Stop auto lets the round in progress finish first.
Auto stops on its own when the next round costs more than your balance. It does not resume after a reload: an open round comes back in Manual for you to finish.
05Hotkeys and Tools
On a computer, the keys under the board include Pop out (play in a movable window, up to three games at once), Live Stats (your last 24 hours), How it works, Hotkeys and Sound. On a phone they sit over the board's top corner, without Pop out and Hotkeys.
- Hotkeys stay off until you turn on Use hotkeys, and the choice is saved on this device.
- Space starts a round or stops Auto, and never starts Auto. Q cashes out, R reveals a random tile in a Manual round, A halves the amount and S doubles it.
- A hotkey does nothing while you type in a field or while a dialog is open.
06If You Refresh or Lose Connection
Open rounds are kept on the server, not in the page. Refresh or come back later and the round reloads with its gems, multiplier and cash out value, ready to finish, unless Mines is temporarily unavailable. An open round has no time limit.
My rounds, under the game beside Biggest wins and Lucky drops, shows your latest 10, 25 or 50 rounds from the last three months.
